Northlight is not usually the right home for textbooks, academic monographs, erotica, hard crime, procedural thrillers, political polemic, or work written mainly to shock.
We are open to darkness, danger, longing, and moral complexity, but we look for books with beauty, atmosphere, emotional shape, and a sense of meaning.
If in doubt, send it through, and we will read it.
